Skirting the issue

I'm rocking business casual five days a week and I really want a skirt like this.

They don't have it in my size, so I'm trying to find something similar. This would be great for the spring, summer and fall. This would be great with a solid or patterned shirt and wedges for warm weather and boots and a cardigan for the fall. I'm looking for one in black and one in blue because those colors would match so many things. They would be perfect to wear to the news room and to class. It's a polished way to look nice without sacrificing comfort. It would be my "go to" on long days.

Happy belated dog day

Yesterday was National Dog Day, but I didn't have time to blog. I've posted pictures of my pup before, but he's so cute, I assumed you wouldn't mind seeing him again.

Everyone, this is Buster. We got him two days before Christmas when I was in third grade.

I wish I could promise I'll be better about blogging this semester than I was this summer, but I cannot. This summer was a busy one and this semester is sure to be even busier. A person has to have priorities and I couldn't make this a priority. That being said, I do love blogging and I will try my best to keep this updated.
